Alberta Association of Architects

The Alberta Association of Architects wholly supports the Consulting Architects of Alberta in their mandate to be the business advocacy voice of architectural firms in Alberta. The AAA is pleased the CAA is taking on the role of business promotion in our province and we look forward to working together to support the interests of our collective membership.

Royal Architectural Institute of Canada

The RAIC Alberta Chapter is the first of what we hope will be many grassroots advocacy arms of the RAIC, Canada’s leading voice for architecture. As a relatively new undertaking, our chapter recognizes and applauds the pioneering spirit of the CAA as it sets out to establish a strong voice for architectural practice in our province. Alberta’s architectural firms need credible, clear advocacy for the business of architecture and, especially, the value of design in the creation of a vigorous and sustainable Alberta economy. The RAIC Alberta Chapter further believes that the physical, intellectual, and cultural well-being of all Albertans is well served by a vigorous and sustainable design industry; an industry that has benefited and should continue to benefit greatly from the skill and leadership of Alberta’s consulting architects. The RAIC Alberta Chapter looks forward to joining our voice with that of the CAA in advancing our shared, essential mandate—that architecture matters in Alberta—and  welcomes the CAA as it further asserts that in Alberta, the business of architecture matters.

Alberta Finance and Enterprise

Alberta Finance and Enterprise congratulates the Consulting Architects of Alberta upon the formation of their new business association.  By providing a focused mandate for architecture in the long term sustainability of the Alberta design industry, the CAA is providing the necessary business link for its members between their members and project owners. We are looking forward to collaborating with the CAA on initiatives of mutual benefit that will provide a basis for sustained growth of this vital sector in Alberta’s economy.

Consulting Engineers of Alberta

Consulting Engineers of Alberta are delighted with the formation of Consulting Architects of Alberta, a much-anticipated and eagerly awaited event. As design professionals, architects and engineers have long collaborated to make our communities better places to live, work, and play by creating important public and private sector buildings. We now have a fantastic opportunity to collaborate at a higher level, to share experiences, exchange ideas, and work toward common goals. Together, we can create a business environment that will ensure the long-term sustainability of the Alberta design industry. Congratulations for having the courage and stamina to get this very important new "made in Alberta" association off the ground!
