RAIC Document Six, 2017 Edition now available

Did you know ... ?

The Consulting Architects of Alberta's Procurement and Contracts Committee was invited to offer feedback to the RAIC Committee preparing the updates to Document 6, our industry’s standard form of contract.

We made many suggestions ranging from detailed wording and interpretation comments to the Standard of Care definition, clarity around indemnification for negligence and percentage based fees.

Our Committee is very pleased to note that our comments were addressed in detail in the final Stakeholder Distribution draft.

Your P & C Committee sees the updated RAIC 6 as an excellent, much improved, document and encourages our membership to support its industry wide implementation.
