Out-of-province Affiliates

New category of membership:  Out-of-province Affiliates

In light of the growing diversity of the Alberta marketplace, the Consulting Architects of Alberta have decided to provide a way for Canadian architecture firms based outside of Alberta to participate in supporting our mandate.


Together we all benefit from building and maintaining a positive business environment.


Affiliate Members will enjoy all of the member services that regular membership confers:

  • Communication: newsletters, e-notices, member-only access to online member discussion forums, and any other member communication
  • Events: invitations to all events at member rates
  • Advocacy: full consultation and communication on all advocacy matters, including the right to sit on committees.
  • Other: access to any affinity programs we develop 
  • Voting rights: Full voting rights
  • Governance: Ability to serve on CAA Board. The only restriction is that the number of Affiliate Members cannot exceed 30% of board membership.




Annual Dues

Annual dues are $500, and may be pro-rated to the CAA fiscal year end (July 31), with annual renewal invoices sent in August of each year.
